There was no sound from one of the bass speakers, after removing it from the cabinet which was a struggle as its glued in as well as screwed. The litz wire (I thinks its called) that connects the voice coil to the solder connections had fractured due to the cones movement over 30yrs, these were from 1969\70 the first ones imported. This type of fault will be common on older speakers.
