PR Audio is located in Leigh (off A580, East Lancs.) near Manchester in the North West of England.
With extensive experience repairing and servicing vintage stereo equipment from the 1970s onwards, I specialise in bringing classic Hi-Fi separates back to full working order. Throughout this website you'll find examples of equipment I've repaired, together with brief descriptions of the faults encountered, their causes, and the remedies used. Where appropriate, photographs are included to illustrate the repair process.
My background includes working as a service engineer for a major Hi-Fi retailer in Bolton, as well as contributing technical articles to the now-defunct electronics magazine Practical Television. This experience has provided a strong foundation in the diagnosis, servicing, and restoration of a wide range of vintage audio equipment.
