Came across this for repair, looked okay until I noticed the burn marks around the heatsink. The output IC had expired, TDA1514. There is a facility to disable the power amp section in these amps and use it as a preamp only. Checking the two power transistors either side of the heatsinks found they were short circuit so that was cancelled. I decided to remove the two transistors to see if the preamp worked, after doing so the result was no voltage to the preamp section, so a double whammy (whatever that means).
